I'm Back and with a Subscription!

Hey everyone,

I'm back from my little holiday to the Gold Coast, QLD. I met up with some mates from deviantart ~onesadlittleboy *LeahyC *dan82au all great guys. Cameron took me up to Lamington National Park for the day which was great. I have heaps of photos which I will be processing sometime next week when I get a chance, after I get back into my web design studies. Cam also took me up to Q1 which was unreal, check one of Cam's shots

Apart from taking photos on our holiday, we also went to Seaworld which was fun. We saw the polar bears, sea lions, sharks, sting rays, dolphins, penguins. This was my second visit since I was a child so it had grown a lot since then. Then of course Alix my girlfriend of course being a girl she wanted to go shopping so I tagged along with her, got myself some new sunglasses and a shirt, not much of a shopper.

Also I would like to thank =pestilence for buying me a 3 month subscription. It really makes me appreciate deviantart when I have friends who care enough about me and my photography that will do that, so thank you mate ;)

Anyway that's why I've been quiet here the past week. Hope everyone is well, look forward to hearing from you all :)

Hello everyone,

My name is Drew and I'm a nature photographer living on the Mid North Coast, Australia. I've had an interest in photography for a few years before buying my first SLR. I try to fully express what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed - as Ansel said himself. To me photography is like any other art form, Creativity is what I am for. Before shooting I always visualize perspective in my mind in hope to find the perfect compositon. I have been studying Professional digital Photography for over a year now, and I'm about to get my diploma.

Nature has been one of my biggest influences, as a child I travelled around Australia with my family in a motorhome. I can say if I wasn't brought up the way I was, then I probably wouldn't be doing what I do today. Photography to me is also a great escape from the real world, a time when I can let imagination run wild and where my photographs tell the story.

Oh, you used to. Used to talk a bit but then my myspace got hacked.
