This photo is a delight to the viewer's eye. From the little detail to the most obvious factors that make this image remarkable this image is very well taken care of.
But, let's not overdo it and explain what I mean.
Composition In terms of composition the photo is nicely done with many rules of photography applied to it. The rocks on the front keep the eye busy in order not to be lost in the waterscape. The horizon is very well placed not exactly in the middle but on the upper side of the photo. Also, the choise of a square crop adds a nice feeling to the image, making it even better. Drawbacks -I would prefer it if you cropped just a little more of the part on the very front of the image, just behind the rocks.
Technique What I most like in this photo is its technique. As far as I can see the exposure is long enough in order to give a smooth feeling to the water, but also show the rocks below the sea level too. Showing parts of the sea below the water lever is not easy to achieve and is not appropriate for all occations. However here it is just right. What is more, the exposure seems very good and DOF is remarkable with no unfocused points on the main subject. Last but not least, the fact that some parts of the rocks are more lightened than others give a nice touch to the result. Drawbacks -I would prefer it if the post vignetting was just a little less.
Conclusion and other comments In conclusion "Everlasting Calm" from Drewyboy is a great piece that can easily get much attention and stand out from the crowd's art;the waterscape's calmness and tranquility leaves everyone who sees this artwork happy. Comments -The title fits the whole package -You could try adding a frame, you never know if it is going to be better or worse -The BW convertion surely gave another look the the scene which could not have been captured including colours
I like the black and white with the square crop, it gives it a very fine art feel that you would see in a high art gallery. When I have my own house I want to buy this from you in like a 20x20 canvas.

By the way the highlights in between the rocks - perfection. It gives this photo a chocolatey smoothness, and that smoothness is how I judge black and white photos. This is bad ass
