I was lucky to get through to my local beach, Third Headland yesterday as the road has been closed for a week or two from all the rain we've had. The road was flooded and there was no way of getting down to the beach, so I'm glad it's opened up and I was able to get through.

The lighting was beautiful as the sunset behind the headland, casting beautiful light along the beach.
Enjoy.

The balance between light and dark, rough and smooth in this image is apparent and makes the picture, as a whole, wonderful. The smoothness and softness of the sea on the right compared with the rough and sharp rocks on the left give the photo a very eye-appealing nature. It's hard to describe, but the effect that it has on me is one of sheer amazement.
