I was in the rainforest walking around with my 50mm 1.8 lens when I noticed this interesting plant. I converted this to monochrome which makes it slightly more unusual. I must say the 50mm 1.8 is a fantastic lens, very sharp.

Really well noticed. It's a beautiful picture. Personally I might like it even more if the whole area was in focus though.

Personally I think the soft out of focus edges really compliment the sharp focused flowers and without the softness the scene would feel too flat, but thanks for the comment mate :)
